Teachers

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for 25 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. As of August 2009 she assumes the position of Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). Gen-la Dekyong is also the US NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center California, Los Angeles. During the celebration, she will grant the empowerment and give teachings on Reliance Upon the Spiritual Guide.

Gen Kelsang Khedrub is Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle. He will give the introductory talk on Friday evening.

Heather Rocklin is Resident Teacher of Mahasiddha Buddhist Center in Portland, Oregon. She will lead
the meditations during the Celebration.
